The second impromptu run from Banningham on 30th July took a southerly route on the back lanes to the Corner Cafe at Mundesley. The return leg was via Gimingham, Southrepps Lower Street, Thorpe Market, Hanworth, Thurgarton, Wickmere, Calthorpe and Ingworth.
A 15 minute torrential downpour in the early afternoon was enough to soak the riders.
This was a relatively short club run, with mileages between 42 and 63.
On 6th August the third and final impromptu club run from Banningham headed west and north west through Moorgate, Itteringham and Barningham Green, before turning south-westwards by way of Briston, Craymere, Hindolveston, Foulsham and Upper Guist to the Post Office Tea Room at Guist, where the meticulous attention to detail by the two young men taking orders and preparing food was remarkable.
The more southerly return route was via Bintree mill, Themelthorpe, Whitwell, Booton, Abel Heath and Drabblegate.
A glorious August day with a fresh wind.
