Bugs and viruses were finally forced into submission as seven Wheelers headed for Pensthorpe Natural Park. The route to the ravitaillement was by way of Corpusty, Foundry Hill, Tyby, Guestwick (change of route due to serious hedge-cutting in progress), Foulsham, Wood Norton, Stibbard and the notorious Muurs of Little Ryburgh.
The more northerly return course was via Little Snoring airfield, Thursford, Barney, Hindolveston, Burnthouse, Craymere and Briston to the split at Edgefield church, from where the larger group continued over the climb to Barningham Green, Squallham and Erpingham for the final split.
