Club Run, 24/3

After last weekend’s entertainment, watching thirty fat lads rolling around on the floor with a giant egg, some of the Wheelers decided that they would, after all, be better off riding their bikes.

Eight left the pick-up point to ride to Yaxham Waters via Heydon Park, Reepham, Lyng, Elsing, North Tuddenham, Mattishall and Cutthroat Lane. The route home went by way of Etling Green, Elsing Hall, Mill Street, Sparham, Kerdiston, Odessa and Wood Dalling to the first split on Corpusty Green, from where some headed east and others continued to the second split at Barningham Winter.

The bunch: Trevor; Sue; Robin; Malcolm; Harvey; Graham BB; Graham A; Geoff.

PC to PC: 58 miles/ Itteringham to Itteringham 47 miles/ Max: 66 miles.

One unauthorised deflation and one loose freewheel.

Conditions: generally good for cycling, with just a bit of seasonal chill and a light SSW breeze.

NB: Following discussion, there have been a couple of adjustments made to the club run programme
