Nine North Norfolk Wheelers were joined by cycling coach, Saffron, from Daventry CC (165 members) for the club run to Coltishall Red Lion. In mild but windy conditions the bunch went through Itteringham, Moorgate, Ingworth, Banningham, Brampton, Buxton, Stratton Strawless, Hainford and the last leg past Heggatt Hall for a well-earned refreshment break. Recuperating from a carpal bone operation, Ian S arrived at the cafe on foot following a 10 mile fast walk from home.
The return route headed east for a while, as far as Hoveton Hall, before turning north through Crowgate, Tunstead, Swanton Hill, Skeyton, Hylton Crossways, Colby, Alby Common, Thurgarton and Bessingham to the split at Gresham church.
