Mark Mc continued his comeback, joining the weekend run to Gressenhall Museum. Ben found time to complete his business before joining the bunch at Heydon village, from where the bunch of six riders picked their way out through the lanes via Guestwick, Foulsham (UK drain cover capital), Bintree Watermill, Great Heath and East Bilney. This is a fairly lumpy route, but Brian stormed up the numerous steep banks on his 48×18 fixed. Following discussion of the privations of workhouse incarceration, the Wheelers headed back by way of Hoe, Swanton Morley, Pennyspot Hill, Mill Street, Bawdeswell, Foxley, Themelthorpe, Thurning and the Briston byways to a two-way split at the Old White Horse.
