The official start for the Club Runs is at the entrance to an Anglian Water reservoir which is approximately 100 metres along Gibbet Lane, just south of the A148 Cromer/Holt road at Pretty Corner. Click for Location
Closest car park is at Pretty Corner, half a mile away, north of the A148.
Club runs depart at 10.00 am unless stated otherwise.

All runs are subject to weather conditions and you are advised to check the web site as occasionally the destination can change or in adverse conditions, the ride cancelled. See notes below before attending club rides.

Wednesday Club Runs
Wednesday rides are usually 50-60 miles with an average speed of 15mph. We stop around halfway at a café or pub for food and a chat.

Thursday Chaingang Ride, Start at 1pm

A set 20 mile chain gang ride to give riders experience of riding in a group and working together at race pace and for training. The group rides as a single pace line with stronger riders spending more time on the front. The idea is to work together making the group pace as fast as possible and giving everyone a good workout. It will follow a circular route starting at the normal club run start location at the Anglian Water depot, Upper Sheringham then heading inland to West Beckham, Baconsthorpe, Holt, Hunworth, Briston, Saxthorpe, Little Barningham and back to the start.  Option to meet on the route near Holt.  Starts at 1pm. Will be cancelled if raining.

NOTES:
Club rides are open to club members and a guest may attend twice, after which they can ride only if they are a member (https://nnwheelers.co.uk/membership/).  Guests and potential new members are welcome to just turn up and try a club ride.
Whilst our club is a member of British Cycling this only covers public liability insurance.  It is therefore recommended that club members are also members of British Cycling (or another insurance provider) to give you year-round peace-of-mind, liability insurance and legal cover.
