The club has a range of club runs/rides to suit all abilities. Visitors from other clubs are welcome to ride with us and we always welcome potential new members.
Club runs are subject to weather conditions and you are advised to look at the website and the Facebook page as occasionally the destination can change or in adverse conditions, the ride cancelled.
Saturday club runs start at 10.00 am and Wednesday runs are at 10.30 am unless stated otherwise. Both runs include a lunch stop. These rides, (lightheartedly referred to as the ‘No Visible Lycra’ rides) can be a “bridge” to the longer/faster rides for potential new members – or anybody else who would enjoy a leisurely social outing! Suitable for adults on most types of bicycle. Format is usually 20 miles – lunch – 10 miles, returning to the start by around 2pm. Average speed 10 – 11 mph. Starting at Marsham at 10am (just off the A140 on the Old Norwich Road at NR10 5PS). Starting at Catton Park (on the 2nd Tuesday of the month only) at 10am (Oak Ln, Norwich NR6 7DB).
Tempo Ride – Saturdays 8.30am – Pretty Corner, Upper Sheringham, NR26 8TW. This is a 2 hour ride at tempo (16 to 18 mph) on a set hilly route. Start at main Pretty Corner Car-Park 8.30am. Finish back at start / optional meet up after in Sheringham for drink/cake at Funky Mackerel Café at around 10.30am. These are less frequent in the summer when most of us are racing so please contact the club via email or facebook page if you are thinking of coming along. Route here: ROUTE
