On a warm summers evening on the Norfolk Coast 9 riders turned up to tackle the rolling 25m TT course from Holt to Fakenham and back. A slight tail wind helped on the way out and hindered slightly on the return, but overall conditions were good for time trialling. Fastest was Mike Padfield (58.31) who had a slow puncture 1.5 miles from the finish but still managed a personal best by 58 seconds. Second was seasoned triathlete John Morgan (1:01.57) who was in good form following the Outlaw triathlon the weekend before. Third was a guest rider Miles Higby (1:02:00) who was on holiday in the area.
With 14 time trials left on the calendar including a hill climb, 10m, 18.5m hilly and 25m TTs, the North Norfolk Wheelers welcomes riders of all abilities from all clubs to their events.
