No not a misprint this was another visit to The Corner Café on the last Wednesday Run of the year. Boxing Day can be a tricksey time for opening and since the CC would definitely be open 11 – 1 for coffee and cakes this seemed the safest bet.
As it was only one other Wheeler (Graham J from Leicestershire) joined Malcolm at The Erpingham Arms at 10.30. We followed a familiar route taking in Ingworth, Aylsham, Burgh, Skeyton, Swanton Abbott, Worstead, Honing, Crostwight, Edingthorpe and Paston. We arrived at the Café just before midday – carrot cake and black coffee for one and just a pot of tea for the other – readers decide which was which!
On the return leg there was a parting of the ways at Southrepps with Graham heading for the coast and Malcolm inland to Thorpe Market, Lower Street, Antingham and home.
